Important Information Regarding OnePlus Operational Changes

Thanks for this info, good to get official clarity on all the rumours and speculation. Looking forward to shifting to ColourOS.

Well, this sucks, not gonna lie... 😞😞 But, it's not like we didn't see this coming, it was known since January that this would happen.
As an OPPO mod, I am already accustomed to using ColorOS on both my Find X9 and Find X7 Ultra - and lets face it, all that will change is the name, both Operating systems are already one and the same, but there is this special feeling I get when using a OnePlus phone. I can't put my finger on it, but I still prefer to use my OnePlus Open and OnePlus 15 over the 2 aforementioned phones.
Anyway, it's been one hell of a ride, with some awesome memories.🔥🔥
This is a sad day. More than 11 years of daily activity will go down a black hole 🕳️ But the friends I made along the way is here to stay.

I am surprised by the announcement, especially after I've attended the OEF and launch at Milan. I would have expected increased/expanded services in Europe. Heck, even people in Finland were using OnePlus.
First of all I want to thank everyone for everything, from the sceptic person looking at the OnePlus One specs to actually ending up as a local ambassador it's been a wild ride, I did things I could never imagine, today marks a black page in my story book, news we all knew that was lurking around the corner finally came true....
I look back at 12 amazing years, filled with friendship, hyping each other and talking with staff members.
In the end all wat remains are the friends we made along the way, this is not a goodbye.
This is a "until we meet again"

Finally, what we all already knew
OxygenOS is practically being phased out as parent company Oppo pushes ColorOS as the future. Although OxygenOS was just a skin for a few years, I enjoy its originality and uniqueness.
We were all expecting this, and it has finally occurred.
